Sorry for the lack in photos lately, everyone :s I must admit I've been slacking.
Here's an outfit I wore a few days ago, I'm not sure why, I can't remember. Haha. But it's a pretty good one, I'm sure soon it'll be too hot to wear it though. :/ I'll have to retire it until fall, sadly. Mmm, the grey shrug is from Charlotte Russe, I got it for Christmas and almost cried because I thought it was pretty ugly, but it doesn't look that bad on. Especially paired with my favorite shirt I got at J.C. Penney. (Apparently I shop at those two places often...) The jeans were a gift from my boyfriend's mom so I'm not sure where they're from which is pretty unfortunate because they're the best fitting jeans I've ever owned and would love to buy two pairs in every color. They're Z.D. Premium brand, so if anyone has seen them in a store, please share! I actually have no clue where I aquired the belt either. But the shoes were Isaac Mizrahi for Target, but I got them at Goodwill for $6 ;) I've been finding some really cute Target stuff at thrift stores lately now that I think about it. I got one of their floral make-up bags and I saw some really adorable boots with fringe down the side that were originally from Target as well, unfortunately I couldn't fit my foot in there to save my life. Oh, and the cube necklace I bought at Claire's.

Happy Birthday to You

Another sunny day :) It's my oldest friend's birthday today so I'm going to sing her happy birthday. But before I go, I'll tell you about my new favorite outfit. It's a pear dress from Urban Behavior topped with my signature grey cardigan from Charlotte Russe. The waist was cinched with a thrifted brown belt and I paired the ensemble with a pair of brown boots also thrifted.

They'll Make You Impervious to the World's Soft Decay

Another day, another outfit. Not up to much but blogging today, but I couldn't resist the urge to share this lovely purple scarf I got thrifting the other day with mis madre. I added a splash of yellow with a top from Wet Seal and paired it with a white skirt from Ross 'cause I like to "Dress For Less". Topped the ensemble off with a pair of sunglasses from Claire's and a pair of oxford pumps from JCPenney's that aren't pictured because it was raining today and the lighting wasn't cooperating.

Pretending She Was Far Away in a Scented Kingdom of Fire & Shadows

After a day of thrifting yesterday I felt a need to show off my newest ensemble. Paired a red tank with a monochrome floral skirt originally from Express. Used a thin brown belt at the waist tied into a bow because it's much too long for it's own good. I added a black flower clip from Claire's for good measure.

Things I'm Loving

Urban Outfitters in Pasadena, CaliforniaImage via Wikipedia

For me, as soon as one school year ends, back-to-school shopping for the next year begins. So I thought I'd share a few things I'm lusting after this summer, at least as far as fashion goes ;)

Some stores chock full of my fashion wishes are Forever 21, American Eagle, and Urban Outfitters. This season I'm after floral prints, cardigans, skinny jeans, high waist shorts, gladiator sandals, and some sweet summer scarves to name a few.

Celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Taylor Momsen, and Drew Barrymore have offered some inspiration as of late with Selena's cute casual style, Taylor's punk edge, and Drew's bohemian flair. And as always, the users of lookbook.nu will always have my heart.

Summer Lovin'

Took a long sleeved top from Aeropostale and tied the sleeves across the chest to make it Summer appropriate. Topped with a grey cardigan from Charlotte Russe and paired with shorts from JCPenney. Inspired by Lulannie on lookbook.nu

Mother-Daughter Day today. Goodwill, Chinese food, chick flicks, and Barnes & Noble.

Words of Welcome

First off, thank you for taking the time to view my blog, and welcome. Just wanted to take a moment to create a description of my hopes and plans for this thing.
This blog is for fashion, it's for self expression, it's for originality, & most of all it's for inspiration. I plan to post outfits that are hopefully refreshing and unique and I hope that they inspire you to start dressing like you've always wanted. As for me, I've been afraid of judgement for quite a while, and to me, this blog is a vow to never again put down a daring outfit in favor for a quiet jeans and t-shirt ensemble just to avoid critisism. This blog is a new start.
